Calculate your Beer Allowance

What's your RDBA?

Some people measure their athletics accomplishments with medals and trophies.

Others meticulously track personal records.

And still others just race for the t-shirt.

Well, now there’s an entirely new way of realizing your goals that’s infinitely more rewarding.

Introducing Draftmag.com’s Beer Allowance, our new interactive feature that translates your workout calories into an equal number of beers consumed.

Now whether your exercise of choice is biking, bowling, running, swimming or just raking leaves, you will know which and how many beers you rightfully deserve.

It’s like a calorie calculator, but with something you actually care about. You can now find it permanently on the right column of the Beer Runner.

For instance: Today I biked to and from work, it took me an hour round-trip, and I pedaled in the 13-15 mph range. So by our math, I can down 1.6 Dogfish Head 120 MInute IPAs, 4.5 New Belgium Mothership Wits, or (if I want to keep punishing myself) 12.8 Budweiser Select 55s.

Several other beers are listed, too. Try it. You’ll never look at your workout the same way again.

Big thanks to DRAFT Magazine’s Web Director Jonathan Surratt for creating this feature.
